ShadowProtect and ImageManager are fantastic computer backup products. They are created by the backup experts StorageCraft and with the close help from them and our suppliers, I'm pleased to announce our Premium Backup Solutions that will enable you to backup not only off site from your business location but now have the ability to do it smarter and quicker than before by sending all that data to our network for virtual booting.
For those of you that do not use these products here is a quick low down:
If you use Microsoft Windows then you can install Shadow Protect to back them all up in case of disaster. This product really does work and we feel that there is nothing that can match it.
When using this product we recommend installing Image Manager to keep all of the files in a good order for retrieving when the time comes. There are lots of other reasons to use Image Manager but none more important than getting your data off site or even in another city!

Monitoring
Once you have purchased ShadowProtect and ImageManager we can monitor your systems live to ensure backups are happening on time and as expected. We will alert you immediately if any backups fail or are missed.

Testing
Don't just assume your backups are working - know! We'll periodically boot up your backups as a virtual machine so you can see for yourself that all your critical business data is there. During the Canterbury earthquakes there were lots of stories from business owners saying that their backups did not work. The only true way to test them is to start them up on a virtual machine and try and log in and open some files, folders and email.

Offsite hosting / Replication
If you already have Shadow Protect backing up your computer systems to another computer in the office or heaven forbid a USB drive, then this part is for you! Using Image Manager you can now send all your data from your office to our facilities in either Christchurch or Palmerston North. We have fully robust and "out-of-town" systems that can cater for your needs. This has proved very popular with businesses worried about protecting their information here in Christchurch because of the CBD being locked down meaning their systems are inaccessible.
